Holidays is the period of time that most students eagerly await every year.For most of us,holidays is the time to have fun.We can do all the stupid and non-beneficial things.For some people,the holidays is for studying and getting ready for the upcoming year.For others,it is precious time that they can use to do something really important.For me,it's a combination of all these three things.
This year's year-end holidays have been the best one I've ever had.I never really expected it to be like this.I was actually expecting another boring holiday.Surprisingly,I was kept so busy during the holidays until I had no time to think about boredom.
I'll start with the stupid and fun things.This holiday period,I actually spent a lot of time on the computer and watching television.I was online almost every night facebooking,blogging and chatting with my friends........and not to forget......watching Naruto episodes(I'm finally at shippuden now).I really liked chatting with my friends.It's a nice way to keep in touch while we're not in school.In addition to that,it's interesting to discuss somethings with our friends that can't be discussed when we are in school.I'm guessing that you guys should know by now what I'm trying to say here.Blogging.....holidays is the best time for blogging.I'm not very busy during the holidays so it's easier to update my blog.I won't have time like this when school reopens.I personally think that watching television was the most beneficial fun that I had during this holiday.I watched a lot of documentaries about space,planets and our solar system.I certainly widened my knowledge on our solar system by watching these documentaries........one more step closer to becoming an astrophysicist!
Holidays also provides us with a lot of time for studying.Well,most of us don't really spend our holidays studying unless it's really important.I wasn't too concerned about my Form 4 syllabus during the holidays.So,I just decided to study a little bit of Biology and do a little Additional Mathematics.I did this to just fill my time so that I won't get too bored lazying around.I did go for tuition,only for B.M. to Puan Asiah.B.M. is the only subject which I need real guidance.I've decided to put my own effort into the other subjects so that I can go for my running training.
Last but not least,precious time.Yeah......the holidays provide precious and free time that can be made use of.In my case,this holidays provided me with essential training and resting time.I can train hard and then rest well after my training.When school starts,I'll have to study hard too so I won't have so much of time to rest.During that period,I'll be pushing my muscles to the extreme.I used this holiday period to get ready for that too.
See......what else can I want for a holiday?Almost nothing else.I enjoyed this holiday very much.I did not realise that time was moving so fast during the holidays.I was never bored.My whole day was occupied every single day.Everyday had a mixture of many flavours.Tiredness in the mornings,television in the afternoons,playing with my brother in the evenings and using the Internet almost every night.........and not to forget my trips to Genting and Cameron.I'm quite sure that you guys would've enjoyed your holidays on your own ways.I'll give you a hint to enjoy your holidays.Holidays will become interesting if you do anything with great interest during that period of time.In contrast,most cases of boring holidays are the affects of our mind saying that the holidays are always boring.So.......use this hint the next holidays and see if it works...............

Friends Part 4:Tejvinder Singh
Teju.........the only one from The Pen Club who is not connected to us through the Internet by any means.The fact that he might not even be reading this will not stop me from writing about the remaining member of The Pen Club.
He is one of the most hilarious people in class and also a very close competitor of Eong Wei.Believe me or not,those two are very close in class and are not separated by their competition.Teju is the one who introduced the "not funny" and "quite funny" trend among The Pen Club members.It was very creative and it always made our jokes funny.
Teju is known for his childish and funny acts among the five of us.He is not as brave as Eong Wei to do it in front of class but his jokes are quite good.He shares the same passion for acting as Eong Wei.In our "movies",he is always the funny one.Sometimes,I even wonder where he gets his jokes.His jokes are the most "out-of-the-box" jokes.
Besides that,Teju is also known for his wonderful graffiti.His hand is a hand of art.He can draw wonderful graffiti spontaneously using just a few coloured-pens.It is his natural talent.He can draw and draw and still have great ideas.He and Tim are always competing to see whose graffiti is better.For me,both of them are people with great talent in art.
There is one thing which I admire Teju for,the way he appreciates life.He doesn't like to waste money and prefers to live a simple life.He is very rational and also very kind.In addition to that,he possesses a quality which I look up to very highly.He is strictly a one-woman-man.It's very hard to compare him to any other modern guy.His love for his "special one" is so overwhelming that he doesn't even admire any other girl.I would certainly love to pick up this habit from him.
Teju........you may not have Internet but you'll always have your closest friends with you........Thank you for everything that you have done for me to this day..................

Friends Part 3:Thaventran
Hmm........what can I say about Thaven.Thaven is another member of the 5-man Pen Club .He is the coolest among the five of us.I didn't mean the most "macho",but the person who is the direct opposite of a hot-tempered person.He may look very calm,but he is one person whom I admire for having a lot of tricks up his arms........not just any trick....but really good ones.
Everyone in The Pen Club know him for the "words" he always use.It's like something seasonal.For some period of time,he'll keep on saying one very dominant word for cursing or some other things.Surprisingly,his words are not very bad or vulgar.I don't find them very hurting.If you guys want to learn creative words,Thaven is the best man.My favourite from all his "words" is "pussy".Everyone will laugh if they hear the way he says it.
As I mentioned before,he is a very cool person.No one can anger him so easily.I think I've only seen him angry once or maybe twice.I've learnt how to control my temper from him.Every time I see him so cool,I tell myself that I would love to be like that......and that's exactly how I am today.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!I'm sure that everyone had enjoyed Christmas in their own way.For Christians,Christmas is celebrated to celebrate the birth of Jesus.For others,it's just a time to party.Christmas is about getting together and sharing gifts.I couldn't have gotten a better gift than the one that I had gotten this year.
It was Christmas Eve.It was also the day when this year's PMR results were going to be released.I wasn't so nervous or anxious to take my results.I knew that no matter what result I was going to get,my life still has to move on.For your information,Albert Einstein failed Mathematics when he was in school.Yet today,we're using his formulae in our classrooms.This is a good example that PMR results are not the end of the road.I was happy to receive my results from one of my teachers in school.I got the 7 A's that I wanted.I was very happy because I was able to do well in sports and also obtain the examination results that I wanted.In addition to that,all the other members of The Pen Club also got straight A"s.Well......what other gift could have been better for a simple person like me.
I slept very late that night after returning form church.The next morning,my family went roaming around K.L. visiting my relatives.This is what my familyand I do every year.Well,this is one thing that I would like to share with you guys.My aunt had come from India as she was going to work in an international school in K.L.My father was driving in K.L. and we passed by the old train station nearby Dataran Merdeka.Then all of a sudden,my father pointed at the train station and said "This is where I committed suicide".I was very blur when he said that.I mean he was still alive and then he said that he committed suicide near the train station.C'mon guys....try to think.What do you think he meant?He was actually trying to say that that's the place he pop the question to my mum.Well......old memories returning.Lets leave that aside.
I visited about three or four houses.I had to eat in every house I went to.I was eating and eating and eating.Every house had different dishes,each with a different taste.My stomach was so full but I still forced myself to try all the dishes.The food was excellent and the atmosphere was filled with celebration.Too bad,I'm not a guy who really likes parties.I prefer to just have conversations with my relatives.It was a tiring day.I was pretty tired eating and going around although I was not driving.I reached home at about 11 and headed straight for bed.I had to wake up early for trainingthe next day.Lack of sleep is the worst thing you can have before training.
It was memorable Christmas this year.PMR results and so much of food.I just can't ask for more on an occasion that only comes around only once a year..............................

Friends Part 2:Tan Eong Wei
Eong Wei......he is one guy who has changed me a lot.He is the man.......the leader.....the master......and the main joker......(co-joker).........of The Pen Club.I've seen no one as charismatic as him in my whole life.This is serious.I've never seen anyone as brave and talented as him.We'll go to that later.
Well......I can't really remember how I met him.I know I met him in Form 1.According to Eong Wei,we became friends when he was admiring Tim and me revising something about Sejarah.I can't really remember...so lets just assume that this was how we became friends.
The most outstanding thing about him is that he is very brave in doing things no matter what they are.He takes up challenges like no one I've ever seen before.He is also very brave to talk in public.I'll go through my experience observing him since Form 1.
He created his status as The Joker in Form 1.He was an instant hit.Everyone liked his jokes.We barely knew him but all of us knew that he would make a very funny friend.He used to go in front of everyone and talk about the dumbest but the funniest things humans can ever think of.His jokes in Form 1 were very dirty-minded.I have no idea on where he gets those ideas.He used those dirty ideas and connected them with our classmates.......and sometimes even me.It wasn't the best of things to do but everyone still loved his jokes.He made us laugh and laugh and laugh.I never thought that secondary school would be so fun until I met Eong Wei.
In Form 2,his jokes reduced.He was more into playing in class.He used to play wrestling and football with other friends.Obviously,I did not join in because I was a prefect.......but....I didn't stop them from having fun.I used to enjoy watching him play wrestling with all the other wrestling fans.
In Form 3,he revitalised his joking abilities and cemented his status as one of the best jokers in school.Well......this time.....there was competition.Tim,Thaven,Teju and I were also starting to learn from him.....and we were catching up fast.In Form 3,I had more fun because there were so many people joking.Besides that,we also started playing pen.We missed our primary school life.Eong Wei is the one who started the pen-playing trend.Therefore,my group of friends consider him the founder of The Pen Club.Everyone in class used to stare at Eong Wei,amused by his coolness while everyone else was thinking about exams......exams...exams.I followed in his footsteps and I owe him all the happiness that I have now.
Eong Wei.....you're the one who has changed my life into something very happy.You taught me how to be cool always......thanks man.........

Friends Part 1:Timothy Tian
Timothy........my first friend when I joined Simpang Lima.I have to thank J.K.Rowling a lot because it was her book that brought about the friendship between Tim and me.I was reading the third Harry Potter book,Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban when Tim......being a prefect on duty that time,came and asked about my interest in Harry Potter books.That's when we became friends.He showed around my new school a little during my first recess in Simpang Lima.This is how this great friendship started.
Tim is a very nice guy.I can assure you that he'll be almost every girls pick........the right kind of guy.He is very calm,peaceful,sensible and very mature for his age.Sometimes,he does get angry when some people disturb him,especially guys.He doesn't mind the girls.I'm not sure why but lets just assume that he wants to be a gentleman in front of girls.Somehow,Tim is just a very shy boy.Well....that was last time.Now,after officially joining the jokers in The Pen Club,he has changed very much.Believe it or not,he is actually acting in class now.If you tell this to any of his old friends,they'll be in shock.He has changed very much since I first met him.

Life
Life......It's something that has different definitions from various people.Everyone lives their life in a different way.Their path of life,whether they realise or not,was made by their own actions.Trust me.......most of your life was not destined by your parents.You are the one who wanted to be naughty.You are not naughty because your parents did not control you.I am who I am today because I chose this path.
Well.......my life has three main components,studies,sports and family.Talking about studies,I'm quite satisfied with my results.I've never wanted to become the next Albert Einstein.As long as my results are acceptable,I'll be happy with them.Eventually,the studies branch will develop into career.Many people have told me to choose my own ambition now.I was just not bothered until this person made me realise something very important.So,I decided to have a career in the field of astrophysics.Interesting,but I'm just worried that I'll become the enemy of my friends if I really excel in that field.Astrophysics is a field that sometimes defies the basic understanding of humankind and also the religious understanding of many.In most religion,life started with the story of Adam and Eve.In astrophysics,everything we have today is defined as the remnants of asteroid bombardment on planet Earth millions of years ago.Still........I won't choose another career because of this.
Sports is something which is still new in my life.It is something very important to keep you healthy and can also provide relaxation to our minds.Well,I've decided to pursue higher dreams in sports.I have my own ambitions and goals that I would like to achieve in sports.I've never thought of giving up my running after coming so far.I have the chance to improve,so I'll try my best to make the best out of it.
Family......the most important of all.Right now.....my family is just my parents,brother and my sister.In the future,it'll be my wife.I have a pretty good relationship with all my family members.Although sometimes......I like fight with my sister.Otherwise,everything is perfectly fine.About the future one,I'm not sure when I should start looking.I'm sure many of my age have already started.Well......I have this one girl in mind but I'll not make the move now.I'm just scared that the girl will distract me from my main purposes in life.Anyway......you can always find a girl whenever you want.So....why the rush.It'll be difficult to find another person like her but that is life.I'll just have to adjust.
Guys out there,you have to decide your own life.Don't let others decide it for you.Live life to the max because life is too short.............You'll become too old to do certain things before you realise..........

Athletics
Athletics........a lot to say about it.Well,I was zero in sports during my primary school.I've never even managed to run for my sports house on sports day.Secondary school was a different story.It was my sports house first sports practice.I was expecting another embarrassing run in front of my friends.Well.......Lady Luck had something else in store for me.I started running and surprisingly I finished first in my trial session.That's when my life took a big step forward.That's the moment when I actually found out that I could run.Unfortunately,that year,although selected I could not run on Sports Day because of a serious thigh injury.In form 2,I got the chance to run for Sports Day again.This time,I made it.I won two silver medals.....Good enough for a start in my point of view.Surprisingly,I was selected to represent my school after the Sports Day.Another big step forward.It was a great experience and I managed a lucky bronze.After MSSD,I persuaded my dad to get me a running spikes so that I could train myself.To all of you out there,training by yourself is the most boring thing you can ever do.I was so bored that at times I would refuse to train with my dad.My dad did not give up on me.He continued persuading me until I started training again.Well......my timing was not very good in the 400m.I was not sure why.......because I had been training for a long time.For you guys who are reading this,remember this always......"Right practice makes perfect".I only realised this at the beginning of this year.It was another training day alone.This time......I was very lucky.It was like a gift from God.I saw a group of students training when I was in the stadium.I got the coach's contact number and joined their training........and it paid off very well.My school teacher had registered me to run for the 400, 800m and 1500m in MSSD.Well.....I was shocked as my teacher had registered me for so many events.I knew that I could not run so many events.My complains fell on deaf ears....and I'm the one who paid the price ........one that I'll never regret.It was a blessing in disguise.I was selected to represent Klang in the MSSS because of my 3rd placing in the 800m and the 1500m.The price I paid......missing out on a chance to represent Klang in my favourite event......the 400m.Well......in MSSS.....I did not do very well in both those events.I was a little unlucky int he 800m....the race which I could have at least salvaged a bronze.......I was tripped by another runner.It was too late to catch up and I lost.Lucky for me,I still had the 4x400m.I gave it my all and managed a second-place finish with my team.It was a great mind-opening experience.Next year,I've set my sights on MSSM.I want to get there and take another big step forward.This time......I'll be facing tough competition but I'll work hard for it.I've sacrificed a lot to achieve the things that I've achieved now.I don't want to give up now.So.......my message to everyone out there......don't give up on what you have already started.......keep up the good work and you'll reap the benefits................

Genting Highlands
Well....a week after my training in Cameron Highlands,I had to go for the 4-day study camp in Genting Highlands.From one cold place to another.My first impression of a study camp was boring.Well....I was very wrong.I'll tell u why later.It was basically a camp to teach students on how to study smartly using various techniques.They also taught a few other things about achieving your main goals in life.In my point of view,the most important thing that I learnt in the camp was how to set your goal and working your way to achieve it.It's the most inspirational thing that I learnt there.This was exactly what I was looking for and it showed up in a very unlikely place.I know that if I had not gone for this camp,I would have missed a very big opportunity to learn something which I needed very much.Obviously,if you were my close friend,you would know that I am talking about athletics.Believe it or not,my main purpose of going for the camp was to learn a few things which I could use in other aspects of life besides studying.......and thats exactly what I found.The goal setting thing that they taught us was really an eye-opener for me.Now,I know what am I gonna do exactly in the next few months.I'm pretty sure that this thing will help me achieve what I really want in life.If you guys out there wanna know how to do it,just ask me.I won't hesitate to tell you guys.Sharing is caring....................................
