So yeah...it was the REAL last day of school and I was having the English for Science and Technology exam. My friends and I planned to go out for a Tamil movie that night. After the first paper, when we called our friend who was supposed to book our tickets to ask about the tickets, he dropped a bombshell on us.
He said that he had not bought the tickets yet. We, who were in school, were worried that we would not be able to watch the movie that day as the tickets might be sold out quickly (it was only the second day of release).
My friend then suggested that we call and book the tickets. I immediately rang up my sister to ask her for the number. She said that the movie wasn't even showing in Aeon. Then, after another few calls, one of my friends found out that the movie was showing in Aeon but it wasn't advertised in the paper. That friend decided to drive to the cinema after school.
After school, One of my friends and I hung out at our friends house until another friend came to pick us up. When we reached Aeon, 3 of them went to pierce their ears (post-SPM expression of freedom) while I (with my huge appetite), headed of to McDonalds to grab a burger. The timing was just nice for me to finish having my burger and to get into the cinema.
The movie was OK. The story wasn't that nice but the jokes and the hero's dialogue were funny. Honestly, we friends just went there for the fun of being together. It wasn't about the movie or the hero but just a way to spend the final day of school life. It was a tiring day.
Just barely six hours of sleep and I was awakened by a very disturbing dream. I tried to sleep again but all I could do was roll around in bed. After a torturing one and a half hours in bed, my alarm rang at 7 and I went to take my shower.
That day, I went to Mid Valley for the MPH Carnival. It was a brother-sister outing as my sister wanted to go as well. So, we took the train to the place. It was a difficult and adventurous journey as everyone seemed to be using the train to go somewhere. A long weekend was about to start and I think many people were returning home.
After lunch at McDonalds (again), we headed of to the Exhibition Hall where the carnival was being held. The books there were OK. I bought the remaining Twilight book missing from my collection, Eclipse, for just RM7.50 (that clearly shows what a flop the book was). Nevertheless, I just bought it to complete my collection. I picked up another 2 books and left the place.
My sister and I were supposed to go to our aunt's house in KL after that. None of us knew the way but luckily after some asking around, we managed to find our way. Then, around 6, I was back home with my aunt and cousin, just in in time to watch The Challenger Muay Thai Finale repeat.
What a tiring 24 hours or I should say what an adventurous 48 hours. I just feel like relaxing now. The 2 days of enjoyment was a great way to forget the burdening SPM exam. What's next? I really don't know. Let's see how things go on during the next few crucial days.......
