A Transition Period

What a year it had been. I can proudly say that 2011 was one of the most eventful years in my life. So many important things happened to me this year. I had my own share of ups and downs.

2011 was a weird year. I had so many mixed reactions and feelings throughout the year. I'll start off with the positive notes. Unexpected victories in the Physics and Chemistry explorace were one of my high notes last year. Besides that, I finally got to settle in my class last year.

One of the best parts of 2011 was my friends. We had a splendid time together in school. We did many many things-played around, played futsal, wrestling, movie outings, jumped walls....there's too many to list.

However, I think the negative vibes played it's part in the significant things in my life last year. I started the year really badly. With injuries plaguing me on one side, I came to a realisation that 2011 was going to be my last year in school. The thought of it made me feel very sad all the time. Eventually , I got over it.

Then came the disappointment in athletics. I think I've mentioned it quite a number of times in my blog. So, I'm just taking it as a lesson to learn from which can spur me further ahead to greater heights.

Then, towards the end of the year, everything crumbled. Despite the pressure of SPM, all that was on my mind was how I was going to miss my friends after this. And then, the "incident" which I mentioned about recently did take it's toll on me as well.

However, I'm determined to bring out a positive outcome this year. I've got a few things up and going already. I'll be starting work in the motorcycle repair shop near my house on Tuesday. I can't wait to start digging motorbikes. And I just had my first motorcycle-riding lesson from my friend yesterday.

Another important thing this year is my SPM results will be out pretty soon. To be honest, I'm not that worried about it. I know that there's no point worrying about things that can't be changed. So, I'll just wait and see what I get.

Then, I'll have to choose my path as well. Most probably, I'll be doing my Form 6 next year. I've got my path pretty much planned. I'm still looking for more info on it.

One thing I realised this year is that I was blessed with extremely happy and sad moments. I think everyone would have had their own share own laughter and spoils last year. I'm looking forward towards an excitingly undecided 2012. Happy New Year readers........................
